Chicken Stroganoff
November 8, 2011You’ve probably had beef stroganoff, this is essentially a chicken version of that delicious classic recipe. This recipe makes plenty too! So if you need to feed a crowd this is definitely a great recipe to use. I had a few of the other teachers over last week and I made this, there was plenty for all 5 of us, plus leftovers! It was a big hit too, everyone enjoyed it.
Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts, cubed
1 (0.7 oz) package dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
6 oz cream cheese
Directions:
1. Put the chicken, dressing mix, and condensed soup in a slow cooker; mix together and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
2. Add cream cheese, mix together and cook on high for another hour or until heated through and warm.
3. Serve over noodles or rice (I prefer noodles).
